Picture yourself standing in Arinsal, surrounded by towering mountains. The race begins on asphalt, transitioning to technical trails leading up to Bordes de Prats Nous. As you progress, the terrain becomes rugged, and the views expand at the Pic de les Fonts (2,748 m).
The challenge peaks with a steep 1,000-meter climb in just 2 km towards the Comapedrosa summit (2,942 m). A technical descent follows, passing the Estany Negre and Comapedrosa refuge, before returning to Arinsal.
Throughout the 36 km, 3,322 meters of ascent are distributed across tough sections. After the first climb, a technical stretch leads to a steep rise, and the race ends with a demanding descent that tests runners’ skills.
The cash prizes of the XTERRA European Championship are as follows:

High Altitude Mountain Adventure

With a perfect mix of technical trails, mountain ridges, and stunning views, the classic Skyrace Comapedrosa (24 km) is the ideal battleground for experienced trail runners seeking a short but explosive challenge.
The route starts from Arinsal, ascending through dense forests before opening up along the ridge toward the Pic de les Fonts (2,748 m). From here, a steep climb takes runners to the Comapedrosa summit (2,942 m), the highest point in Andorra.
The descent is fast and technical, passing the Estany Negre and the Comapedrosa refuge, before a steep drop back to Arinsal. The 2,375 meters of vertical gain are concentrated in challenging climbs, followed by descents that require precision and control.
